Southeast Omaha is a neighborhood in Omaha that encompasses a large and diverse area of the city. The neighborhood is bounded by the Missouri River to the east, Interstate 80 to the south, 42nd Street to the west, and Leavenworth Street to the north. The neighborhood includes historic districts such as Little Italy, Little Bohemia, Old Gold Coast, and South Omaha, as well as newer developments such as Deer Park and Spring Lake.

It is home to green spaces like the Gerald R. Ford Birthsite and Gardens, with paths around rose beds and a memorial to the 38th US president. An arboretum, a bird sanctuary, and a landscape with 7 working model trains are among the attractions at Lauritzen Gardens. The Omaha Children’s Museum has hands-on exhibits like the Super Gravitron ball machine and a kid-sized hospital with medical tools.

The neighborhood has a rich cultural heritage and is home to many ethnic groups, especially Latinos, who make up over 40% of the population. Has many attractions, such as the Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium,  Rosenblatt Stadium, and the South Omaha Bridge. Southeast Omaha is a neighborhood that offers a vibrant and diverse community with many opportunities for recreation, education, and entertainment.

Walnut Hill in North Omaha is a popular historic neighborhood.
